entrance fee (senior)

The amount charged for admission to a usage zone under its senior-citizen rate, normally around retirement age.

A senior citizen's admission fee is the amount of money charged to a person of substantial age, normally around retirement age, to enter a usage zone. It is usually less than the regular adult admission fee.

An admission fee is quoted in a currency and applies to a particular time. A later price change does not alter the amount that applied earlier.

Eligibility can be set by venue policy or applicable law. Where a museum ends its child rate at 12 and another at 18, both are recorded as the child fee, so two values in the same field can describe different groups of people.

A reduced fee that requires proof, such as a student card or a disability card, is still the fee for that category. Whether a visitor can produce the proof is not part of what this field records.
