A lounge or bar where customers take turns singing along with recorded music.
A karaoke club is a nightclub, lounge, bar, or similar venue where customers are encouraged to take turns singing in front of an audience to the accompaniment of recorded music (often prompted by lyrics on a video).
This usage only applies to places where karaoke singing is an ongoing main attraction - not merely to bars which feature periodic "karaoke nights".
Karaoke clubs may also serve drinks and food, and offer games, smoking rooms, and similar recreation.
