Bulk storage of raw harvested trunks and branches, excluding milled lumber, chopped fuel wood, and finished wood products.
Timber storage facilities are places for bulk storage of raw unprocessed wood, generally in the form of cut tree trunks and tree branches. This does not include storage of milled lumber, chopped fuel wood, or any finished or finely cut wood products.
Harvested trunks and branches remain raw timber before milling or other fine cutting. Cutting a tree for harvest does not by itself turn its trunk into milled lumber.
Lumber held after milling belongs to wood storage. Chopped fuel wood belongs to firewood storage.
