A body of water or bounded area within water deliberately formed or demarcated through construction.
A water construction is a body of water or a section of a body of water which is formed or demarcated by deliberate human construction. This includes artificial bodies of water as well as bounded or constructed areas on natural bodies of water (or within an artificial body of water).
The construction can create the body of water itself or define an area within existing water. A natural body without such construction or demarcation is a different kind of place.
An artificial pond is formed by excavation and filling. A harbor can instead occupy a defined site on an existing body of water.
