Track lighting is a form of movable lighting, with lamps attached to tracks built into the walls and ceilings. This system provides flexibility in lighting arrangements without the impediments of floor-based appliances. Bulbs in track lighting can be of any type, including incandescent and fluorescent.
The installed tracks support lamps that can be moved or adjusted along the system. This allows the lighting arrangement to change while the supporting tracks remain in place.
