A kitchenette is a kitchen area in a location, where a full kitchen would not normally be expected. It usually includes facilities for light cooking, food and dish storage, and dishwashing. It is not applied as an amenity to residential areas or restaurants with kitchen facilities, but may be applied to office spaces or hotels.
The location is one where a full kitchen is not normally expected, such as an office or hotel unit. Light cooking, storage, and dishwashing are usual facilities.
Ordinary residential and restaurant kitchens are expressly excluded from this amenity. A kitchen's small size alone does not establish a kitchenette feature in those uses.
