A shop selling personal-care products, medications, toiletries, and other essentials, often with a pharmacy.
A drugstore is a shop which sells various items for personal care, medication, toiletries, cleaning supplies, and miscellaneous common or essential products (such as snacks, drinks, newspapers, and reading materials). Drugstores often include a pharmacy.
Often a drugstore is combined with a supermarket in one store; in this case it should normally be classified as a supermarket but can also be listed as both if the drugstore section is distinctly demarcated.
A pharmacy is common but is not required. When combined with a supermarket, a distinctly demarcated drugstore section permits the additional use described above.
