student union
A center for student organizations with activities and services catering to students.
A student union is a place at or near a school or university, which houses student organizations including student government. Student unions generally include various spaces for various activities and services catering to students, often including eating areas, meeting rooms, club rooms, and book stores.
The place houses student organizations, including student government, at or near the educational institution. It is a physical student-activity center here.
Meeting and club spaces can be accompanied by food or retail services for students. Those supporting amenities do not replace the student-organization purpose.
