Neurology is the branch of medicine specializing in disorders and conditions of the nervous system, including the brain, spinal cord, autonomic nervous system, and peripheral nervous system. A space for neurological practice includes any clinic or doctor's office where this specialty is performed professionally on a regular basis. It does not include space devoted strictly to psychiatric medicine.
The specialist practice concerns the nervous system, from the brain and spinal cord to peripheral and autonomic nerves. It can include diagnosis as well as treatment.
Space devoted only to psychiatric medicine is excluded. The distinction is the clinical specialty practiced, rather than simply whether a condition affects behavior.
