trailer park

A plot of land used for housing movable residences, including trailers and mobile homes.

A trailer park is a land area which houses multiple movable residences, especially lived-in vehicle trailers but also sometimes mobile homes (which are moved on flatbed trucks). The park is generally set up with utility connections (water, electricity, telephone, & internet) for the use of homes parked there. The homes in a trailer park may be located there permanently, semi-permanently, indefinitely, or for a short period of time.

The land accommodates multiple movable residences, including trailers and mobile homes. The homes can remain for short periods or indefinitely.

Utility connections commonly support the occupied homes. A permanent stay does not by itself remove a movable residence from the trailer-park setting.
