A collection of stores around a central passageway forming a shopping destination.

A shopping gallery is a collection of stores, usually indoors, around a central passageway or court. It is relatively similar in scale and offerings to a strip mall, except that it is oriented to pedestrians rather than drivers (although it may have a designated parking area). Shopping galleries are distinguished from loose collections of indoor retail in that they form a clearly defined shopping destination, usually with an identifying name and character under a single management.
