forklift charging station
A designated site for recharging the batteries of electrically powered forklift trucks.
A forklift charging station is a site where battery-operated forklift trucks can be recharged in order to maintain a power supply. This is a common feature of warehouses.
The station restores the electrical energy available to battery-operated forklifts. Its charging function distinguishes it from a place used only to park or store the trucks.
The equipment serves the trucks' power supply rather than a general backup power supply for the building. A warehouse is a common setting, but the definition does not require the charging station to be in a warehouse.
