tattoo parlor
A shop or salon offering tattoos or other ornamental skin modifications, including henna and scarification.
A tattoo parlor is a store, salon, or other place specializing in the execution of tattoos or any other kind of ornamental modifications of human skin (such as henna or scarification). Tattooing is generally provided by these places as a commercial service by skilled tattoo artists.
The scope includes ornamental skin work beyond permanent ink tattoos. Henna and scarification are specifically included.
The location provides the body-art service. Selling tattoo designs or equipment without performing ornamental skin work does not establish a tattoo parlor.
