sports bar
A bar or pub featuring nearly constant broadcasting of sports games on television screens.
A sports bar is a bar, tavern, public house, or similar establishment serving alcoholic drinks and featuring a nearly perpetual broadcast of various sports games on television screens, often placed on all sides so that games may be viewed in any direction.
Sports broadcasts are nearly continuous rather than an occasional feature. Screens on all sides are common but are not mandatory.
The establishment serves alcoholic drinks as part of the bar use. The viewing purpose is distinct from a facility where customers themselves play sports.
