demolition company
A contractor responsible for dismantling a building, identified with the structure it actually demolishes.
A demolition company is a contractor responsible for dismantling a building. This role does not apply to a building when it tears down the structures preceding it on the site: it must be connected to the structure it actually demolishes.
The contractor physically dismantles the structure. The demolished building is the subject of that work, even when the work prepares the site for a replacement building.
A deconstruction consultant provides engineering and logistical expertise for demolition. An excavation company performs earth moving and related site preparation, which is distinct from the dismantling of the building itself.
