A customer drop-off location for chemical cleaning of clothing, whether cleaning occurs on the premises or elsewhere.
A dry cleaners is a place where customers drop off clothing to be cleaned by special chemical processes. The cleaning itself may occur on or off-site. Tailoring services are often performed at these sites as well.
The shop can be a collection point without cleaning machinery on site. Off-site processing does not exclude the customer-facing location.
Tailoring can be an additional service. A laundromat instead provides machines normally operated by the clothes' owners.
