environmental consultant

A company which provides expertise in factors affecting the living quality in a building.

Consultants in any of various specialties affecting the working or living environment inside a building. These include acoustical consultants, air quality consultants, and certain types of material consultants.

The advice concerns conditions within the building that affect working or living there. Acoustics, air quality, and relevant material choices are examples of that interior-environment focus.

Site remediation performs environmental cleanup of the building site. This consultancy is distinguished by advice on the environment inside the building, while an acoustics consultant specializes in its sound conditions.
