residence provider
An organization renting or leasing residential units cooperatively, often with a property-management role.
A residence provider is an organization which rents or leases living units in a cooperative manner, in a role combining aspects of property manager, real estate agent, and often owner or developer.
The activity concerns a cooperative arrangement for supplying living units. It can combine letting with management of the accommodation.
The provider can also own or develop the units, but neither role is required in every case. Merely occupying a unit as a tenant is a different relationship from providing accommodation through the organization.
