weight loss clinic
A facility offering treatments and programs to assist persons in losing weight.
A weight loss clinic is a professional facility offering any kind of program or assistance to customers or patients who want or need to lose bodily weight. It may be staffed by doctors, dietitians, fitness trainers, and/or other professionals; it is not necessarily a medical clinic. Weight loss clinics may feature exercise facilities, and may also sell dietary aids, supplements, or low-calorie foods.
The professional service is organized around helping people reduce bodily weight. Doctors can be involved, but medical staffing is not required.
Exercise facilities and sales of dietary products can accompany the program. Those activities alone do not replace the clinic's weight-loss assistance function.
