ethanol storage
Bulk storage of raw ethanol, an alcohol used as fuel, solvent, or in drinks, excluding packaged alcohol products.
Ethanol storage facilities are places for bulk storage of raw ethanol, a form of grain alcohol used as a fuel, solvent, and in alcoholic drinks. This does not include warehouse spaces for storage of packaged ethanol or alcohol products.
The stored ethanol remains a bulk raw commodity. Its possible destination includes fuel or solvent use as well as alcoholic drinks.
Packaged alcohol products held for distribution have a different storage meaning. The presence of ethanol in those products does not make their warehouse a raw-ethanol store.
