Entrance checkpoints requiring inspection of incoming bags, with a possible minimum bag-size threshold.
Baggage inspection posts at the entrance to an area are checkpoints where all bags (at least above some minimum size) must be inspected for harmful or forbidden materials before being brought in. Inspections may be performed manually or with the assistance of x-ray machines, usually on a conveyor belt.
This feature is especially common in airports and government buildings.
Inspection is mandatory for all bags covered by the site's size threshold. Manual inspection and X-ray assistance are both included, so a conveyor scanner is not required.
