Incandescent wall lamps are lighting installations mounted on or built into the interior walls of a building, which create light by passing electricity through a filament inside a bulb.
The wall mounting and incandescent light source are both part of the feature. A filament heated by electric current produces the light inside the bulb.
A ceiling-mounted incandescent lamp belongs to a different mounting form. A portable lamp simply placed near a wall does not establish a wall-mounted installation.
