An electronics store is any shop or large store whose merchandise is almost exclusively electronic wares and supporting goods like cases for those goods. It can include specialty shops like telephone or sound equipment stores, or it can be a general store offering a whole variety of electronic goods. This does not include office supply stores which specialize in office-related electronics.

The store can offer a broad range or specialize in one kind of electronic goods. Supporting items such as carrying cases can accompany the electronics.

Office supply stores specializing in office-related electronics are expressly excluded. The distinction concerns the store's merchandise focus.
