A crêperie is a restaurant or café specializing in thin rolled pancakes called crêpes, originating in northwestern France. Crêpes may be filled with sweet or savory fillings, or smothered in butter, sugar, fruit, syrup, or other toppings, and can be eaten as a main course or as a dessert.

Crepes can form a main course or a dessert. A sweet-only menu is not required.

The crepe specialization distinguishes the establishment from a general pancake restaurant. The choice of individual fillings does not establish a separate cuisine or service type.
