A preventive medicine clinic is a doctor's office or medical facility specializing in forms of care which aim to prevent possible future ailments. This includes vaccinations against diseases as well as counseling patients on maintenance of their health through exercise, good diet, and habits which minimize risks of medical problems. Preventive medicine may also encompass prevention of sexually transmitted diseases and dispensation of birth control.
