An art consultant is an expert in coordinating collections of paintings, sculptures, and other artworks with the intended atmosphere, branding, or image desired for a building interior. They are particularly used by hotels for choosing art which complements the hotel's character.
The consultant selects or coordinates collections for their relationship to the interior's intended character. The role is distinct from personally creating each artwork.
Hotels commonly use the service, but hotel use is not required. Paintings, sculptures, and other kinds of art can form the coordinated collection.
