The precise date or time parameter when a listed property becomes available.
The availability date for a property is the time when it is scheduled to become available for occupancy, take-over, usage, or any other purpose specified by the transaction. It may be a precise date or another parameter, such as upon completion of certain renovation work, upon agreement regarding certain terms, or as soon as possible.
Availability can depend on a condition as well as a calendar date. Completion of work or agreement on terms can therefore determine when the property becomes usable by the incoming party.
The date concerns the purpose specified in the transaction. It is distinct from the duration of a lease, which describes how long the resulting occupancy or usage rights last.
