An eating disorder treatment facility is a medical clinic or therapeutic center where any method of care is offered to patients suffering from behavioral eating disorders, such as anorexia nervosa or bulimia nervosa.
The clinic or center treats behavioral eating disorders. Anorexia nervosa and bulimia nervosa are examples rather than the only qualifying conditions.
The definition does not prescribe one method of care. A general weight-loss program without eating-disorder treatment has a different primary purpose.
