amusement ride designer
A firm producing conceptual designs, and usually technical designs, for amusement rides of various kinds.
An amusement ride designer is a firm which produces conceptual, and usually also technical, designs for amusement rides, including roller coasters, other motion rides, observation rides, and relaxing rides such as carousels and ferris wheels.
The firm designs the ride concept, usually also supplying technical design. Roller coasters, other motion rides, observation rides, and gentler attractions are all included.
The design role is separate from manufacturing, installing, or operating the ride. A company can undertake more than one role, but the design responsibility establishes this one.
