parking deck
An unenclosed parking structure with multiple levels connected by ramps or continuously sloped parking floors.
A parking deck is an unenclosed multilevel structure designed for parking cars or other vehicles. The floors inside are connected by ramps, or may be sloped themselves forming a continuous interconnection between levels.
Vehicle parking occupies several levels within an open-air structural frame. A single parking surface at ground level has a different form.
Connections can be separate ramps or slopes incorporated into the parking floors. The floor arrangement does not require every level to be horizontal.
