fertilizer storage
Space for bulk storage of raw materials used to fertilize gardens, pastures, or crops.
Fertilizer storage facilities are places for bulk storage of raw materials, whether synthetic or natural, which are used to fertilize soil for growing crops, grazing areas, gardens, lawns, or other plants. These include manures as well as chemical fertilizers. This does not include warehouse storage of packaged fertilizers.
Natural manure and synthetic chemical fertilizer are both included when held as bulk fertilizer material. Neither a chemical origin nor use on food crops is required.
Packaged fertilizer held as warehouse merchandise is excluded. Bulk material for gardens, lawns, or grazing land remains included alongside material for crop fields.
