Royal purple is a very dark shade of purple, halfway between black and purple or closer to black. It is not an especially common color for facades, but does not stand out as much as other shades of purple.

The purple hue remains relevant despite the very low brightness. A neutral black belongs to the achromatic family instead. The hex triplet is a comparison sample for a range of similar facade colors, rather than an exact-match requirement.
