Quantities of construction-related objects include many types of equipment, vehicles, and supporting structures used during the construction phase of a structure or module. These numbers may be quantified in various ways: as the total number through the whole construction process, as the maximum at any one time, as a daily average during construction, etc.
A total over the project, a maximum at one time, and a daily average describe different quantities. The same construction site can have different values for each without inconsistency.
Tower cranes and construction hoists are particular equipment types. Permanent equipment used after completion has a different purpose from equipment supporting the construction phase.
