cabaret

A restaurant or nightclub where musical acts or variety shows perform for an audience seated at tables.

A cabaret is a music club or performance venue featuring entertainers (usually introduced by a "master of ceremonies"), with the audience seated at tables where they are served drinks and/or meals.

The audience is seated at tables and receives drinks or meals during the entertainment. A master of ceremonies is common but is not mandatory.

Table seating with service distinguishes this arrangement from a formal theater audience seated only in rows. The entertainment can include different kinds of acts.
