phenolic foam

An inert and non-toxic polymer spray foam which is mixed with air for thermal insulation.

Phenolic foam is an inert synthetic polymer insulating material which is inserted or layered into wall or roof cavities as an air-propelled spray. It forms an excellent air sealant and acoustic barrier. It is non-toxic, hypoallergenic, fire resistant, mold-proof, and environmentally sustainable. It does not shrink, settle, expand, or dissolve, and it can be inserted into spaces where other forms of insulation (such as fiberglass or cellulose) are present.
