flavored ice shop

A counter-service shop selling dairy-free flavored ice such as snow cones, slush, or Italian ice, with seating optional.

A flavored ice shop is a place which sells sno-cones, slush, Italian ice, or some form of flavored ice from behind a counter. This is similar to ice cream, but does not contain any dairy products; it generally consists of chopped or shaved ice mixed with sweetened and colored flavoring. There may or may not be customer seating within the establishment.

The specialty is flavored ice without dairy products. The product is generally ice combined with sweetened flavoring rather than ice cream.

Customer seating is optional. Shops specializing in ice cream or frozen yogurt retain their different specialties.
