The structure was fundamentally transformed without having been destroyed. This also applies to the original building during major renovations.
A structure is listed as removed when it no longer exists at the given location in its recorded form, without having been destroyed. This covers three cases: it was disassembled and taken away (for example into storage), it was relocated to another site, or it was so fundamentally rebuilt or transformed that it became a different structure.
A successor built in its place is recorded as its own entry; the removed structure keeps its record and this status.
This applies especially to temporary constructions.
