A location designated for buses to park or idle, generally available to buses without serving as one operator's depot.
A bus parking site is a location or facility designed, reserved, or designated for parking buses when they are idling or not in use. It is generally open to any buses, and differs from a bus depot which is a storage facility operated by a bus line.
The space can accommodate buses idling or standing out of use. It is generally available without being their regular home base.
A bus depot serves a particular bus line or operating service. General bus parking does not require that operator-specific relationship.
