3rd-level district
A stable government-determined subdivision of a second-level district, in a municipality with first- and second-level districts.
A third-level district is a stable government-determined subdivision of a second-level district. These are only listed for municipalities which have first- and second-level districts, and generally only when the second-level districts are cleanly divided further.
Official subdivisions cannot be based on transitory divisions such as postal codes or electoral districts.
The division belongs within an existing second-level district, with a first-level district above that. It supplies a further stable territorial division rather than a transitory service boundary.
