ADAC Parkhaustafel
An ADAC certification recognizing the usability and safety features of a parking garage in Germany.
The plaque rates a parking garage on how easy it is to use: the width of the bays, the lighting, signposting, and how safe it feels.
It applies to parking structures alone and assesses usability rather than architectural distinction. A garage inside another building can hold it while the building does not.
The assessment concerns how drivers and pedestrians use the garage. Clear routes and signs, adequate maneuvering space, and usable pedestrian access are features of the parking facility itself.
