A company responsible for installing the fire alarm system in a building or other built object.

A fire alarm system installation company is a firm responsible for installing the fire alarm system in a building or other built object.

The work places the fire alarm system in the built object. The installed system provides fire detection and signaling, rather than being the extinguishing equipment alone.

A fire alarm system manufacturer makes the system. Installation is the contractor's work of fitting it at the property, within the broader range of fire-related installation work described under fire protection contractor.
