NCSEA Excellence Award

The US National Council of Structural Engineers Associations' award for structural engineering.

The award recognizes the engineering behind a project rather than its architecture, in categories that have included project type and construction value and can change between award cycles.

It is given annually, with several winners across the categories.

The assessment concerns the structural design and the problems it solves. The quality of the engineering can be demonstrated through new construction or work on an existing structure, rather than through the visual appearance of the finished project alone.
