Bulk storage of plant sugars, including granulated sugar, maple syrup, and molasses, excluding packaged sugar.

Sugar storage facilities are places for bulk storage of unprocessed plant sugars, including granulated sugar, maple syrup, and molasses. This does not include warehouse spaces for storage of packaged sugar.

The stored commodity can be granular or liquid. Maple syrup and molasses are expressly included alongside granulated sugar.

The bulk material is distinguished from packaged sugar held as warehouse merchandise. Packaging for distribution is outside this raw-commodity storage meaning.
