A timeline is a chronological record of dated facts about a SKYDB object. Each timeline item links the object to a category and a date or date range. The object can be a structure, company, region, or another supported object type.
An item can record an actual occurrence or an expected occurrence. Categories define what occurred, while dates place it in time. Sources and visibility remain properties of the underlying data record.
A timeline does not replace the object's current status or its authoritative fields. A status records the current state, while a timeline records dated facts that help explain how the object reached that state or what is expected next.
