bullfight
Arenas for contests involving bulls, including human bullfighting and Japanese contests between two bulls.
A bullfighting arena is a place designated for contests involving bulls, usually bloodsport between one or more human bullfighters and a bull. It also includes Japanese bullfighting, which involves two bulls locking horns and pushing each other in a manner similar to sumo wrestling.
The usual contest involves human bullfighters and a bull. The broader definition also expressly includes the Japanese form in which two bulls push against one another.
The arena is designated for the contest. Holding livestock without the bullfighting activity is a different use.
