horse parking
A place designated for parking of horses when their riders have temporarily dismounted.
A horse parking area is a place especially designated for horses to stand while their human riders have temporarily dismounted. It does not include stables, which are homes or depots for horses when they are not being ridden or are not in service.
The rider has temporarily dismounted while the horse waits at a designated place. The use concerns that pause in riding.
A stable houses horses when they are not in service or being ridden. Providing a home or depot for horses is outside the horse-parking definition.
