Boat slips are small docks for private boats, generally provided as an amenity in buildings adjacent to a navigable waterway or body of water. They must be on the building's lot to be connected with a building.
The slips must be on the same lot as the building. Access to an unrelated nearby marina does not make its slips a feature of the building.
The amenity provides accommodation for private boats. It is more specific than dock access, which can simply allow boats to stop for passenger boarding or cargo transfer.
