Private parking refers to areas for short-term and long-term storage of cars and other private vehicles which is not open to the general public. Most commonly these are only available to owners, tenants, or employees of a related site.
Both short-term and long-term storage are included. The general public cannot use the spaces simply by arriving as unrelated drivers.
Owners, tenants, or employees are common permitted groups. A public parking facility remains public even if it charges a fee.
