vegetarian restaurant
A table-service restaurant where a majority, and usually all, of the menu is prepared without meat or fish products.
A vegetarian restaurant is an eatery with table service which specializes in food made without dead animals in it. At least the majority (and usually all) of the food on the menu should be made without using any kind of meat or fish products.
A majority of the menu must meet the meat-and-fish exclusion. A small vegetarian section within a predominantly meat-based menu is insufficient.
The definition does not require the exclusion of dairy or eggs. The separate vegan restaurant entry imposes those additional food restrictions.
