top hotel floor height

The vertical distance from a building's base to the floor slab of its highest floor designated for lodging.

The height of a building's uppermost hotel floor is the vertical distance from the building's base to the top of the floor slab of the highest floor designated for any kind of lodging usage.

The measurement ends at the top of the floor slab, not at the ceiling above it. Its lower reference is the building's base.

The upper level is selected by its designated lodging use. A higher mechanical floor does not raise this height, and vacancy alone does not remove an existing lodging designation.
